Williamsburg is in central Pennsylvania, approximately 30 minutes away from Altoona and Lake Raystown, which offers fishing and boating opportunities. Off-site dining is available in Huntingdon, a 10-minute drive from the resort. Local eateries include Abigail's at the Hub (a coffee and brunch restaurant) and Hoss's, which serves steak and seafood entrees.

    Lake Raystown Resort Lodge and Conference Center

    • The Lake Raystown Resort Lodge, located in Entrikan, is on the western shores of Lake Raystown and is a 30-minute drive from Williamsburg. The resort provides amenities such as the 19-hole “Caddy's Revenge” miniature golf course, pontoon and fishing boat rentals, private beach on the lake and campfire pits.       Off-site hiking trails and bird watching activities are across the lake at the Trough Creek State Park, approximately a 15-minute boat ride from the resort. Dining options are available in Saxton, which is a 10-minute drive of the hotel. On-site family-oriented dining is available at the Bistro Express, which serves pizza and has an arcade room with air hockey tables.

    Pleasant Hills Resort

    • Located in Hesston, the Pleasant Hills Campground is a 30-minute drive east of Williamsburg. This campground resort offers a primitive camping cabin with electricity, outdoor porch and this unit accommodates four people with two bunk beds. Outdoor cabin features include a picnic table and fire pit. The resort's RV campsites have hookups for water, electricity and sewage. Resort amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, playground, game room, walking trails and shower facilities. The resort is only open from May through October. Nightly and weekly rates for cabins and RV campsites are available. Off-site dining is available within 20 minutes of the resort at Huntingdon. The resort hosts events such as a Fourth of July celebration, hay rides and barbecue picnics. Fishing and boating activities on Lake Raystown is less than 10 minutes from the resort.
