Lake Lanier Islands Resort is located about 45 minutes northeast of Atlanta on an island in Lake Lanier. You can stay in a villa, lake house, guest room, houseboat with a kitchen and entertainment center or campsite for your RV or tent. The Legacy Lodge Hotel's rooms each have pillow top mattresses, luxurious bed linens, a patio or terrace, bathrobes, a coffee maker and hairdryers. The six Legacy Villas have hardwood floors, stone fireplaces, flat screen TVs and balconies or patios with lake views. Barnsley Gardens Resort is located about an hour northwest of Atlanta in the Blue Ridge Mountains of northeast Georgia. You fill find 62 guest rooms and suites and 12 private cottages, each furnished with high speed Internet, a mini-refrigerator, coffee maker, and a daily newspaper.
