Does Country Inn and Suites Allow Pets?

Country Inn and Suites, a nationwide hotel chain, does allow some pets. But before you hit the road with your furry friend, take a look at the rules. You must abide by them and meet certain requirements to check in with your buddy.

  1. Credit Card Charges and Pet Limits

    • The hotel charges a nonrefundable $50 pet fee and requires a valid credit card to be kept on file at the front desk. Management will charge your card if you or your pet cause damage to the room or property, or if your room requires extensive cleaning upon checkout. The hotel chain limits pet size at 50 pounds, and allows one pet per room. Each hotel sets aside a number of pet-friendly rooms, so call for reservations to make sure you get one.

    Guest Responsibilities

    • You must not leave your pet unattended at the hotel. Walk your pet in designated areas; clean up all waste, and dispose of it in outdoor trashcans. Keep your pet quiet. Two noise complaints from other guests will result in your pet's removal from the hotel.

    Cleaning Arrangements and Checkout Inspection

    • The hotel reserves the right to clean your room daily, and it's your responsibility to arrange for a good time with the front desk. Your pet must be absent from the room or kenneled during cleaning. Your pet-friendly room will be inspected for damage before checkout. If you find any damage to the room when you arrive, take a picture with your smart phone and notify the front desk. Text or email the picture to get a time stamp. Don't get stuck with a previous guest's room-damage bill.
