The Bellagio resort is on Las Vegas Blvd., also known as the Las Vegas Strip. The Bellagio is on the south end of the strip, which features some of the most expensive hotels in the world. Several hotels are next door or across the street from Bellagio. However, many of the hotels on the Strip are so massive that simply walking from one hotel lobby to another close by can take 15-20 minutes.

Las Vegas Blvd. The Mirage is one of the premier hotels in Las Vegas, and offers four- and five-star accommodations, ranging from traditional hotel rooms with a king or two double beds to penthouses the size of an apartment. The two-bedroom Penthouse Suite occupies 1,628 square feet, with special furnishings and artwork. The hotel offers plenty of live entertainment, including B.B. King's Blues Club, a supper club-style restaurant and live music venue. The casino offers all the usual table games and slot machines, including a high-limit lounge for guests seeking to make large wagers. The high-limit lounge includes three separate semi-private gaming areas, dedicated casino cages and private restrooms and dining areas.

Paris Las Vegas is also a short walk from Bellagio. Styled after Paris, the hotel features a romantic appeal and is excellent for couples seeking a romantic getaway. The guest rooms feature custom European furniture, marble bathrooms and upscale bedding. Restaurants and bars at the hotel also have an European flavor. You can sip cocktails at Gustav's, in the heart of the casino, and Le Carate, a French lounge, offers fine cognacs in a garden setting. Napoleon's, Le Central and Le Bar du Sport are also great lounges for enjoying drinks and people-watching. Shopping is available at the Paris-Bally's Promenade and the shops at Le Boulevard. Both offer luxury fashions and accessories.

The Flamingo offers quality accommodations that are often less expensive than those at Bellagio. That makes it a good choice for budget travelers who want to be on the south end of the strip within walking distance of Bellagio. Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville is one of the hotel's most popular restaurants, and it also offers a buffet, steakhouse and other dining choices. Upscale pampering is available outside at The GO Pool. GO offers what the hotel calls "ultra VIP" service, with private cabanas and poolside chaise lounges. Beverage minimums are required with the cabana rental, and there are also complimentary services including plasma televisions, chilled cucumbers to soothe the eyes, iced towels, exotic frozen fruit and wireless Internet access.
