Guca is a small town in central Serbia with a population of just a few thousand people. The town is extremely quaint and small, with no airport or other commercial features. However each year hundreds of thousands flock to the village in the country’s foothills for an annual trumpet festival. If you’re planning on travelling to Guca for the festival or any other number of reasons there are a few nearby accommodations to consider.
Motel Djurcic is one of the newer hotel establishments within the Guca town limits. Located in the heart of town the Motel Djurcic features full accommodations for several hundred guests in a newly construction building. The motel offers limited views of the nearby river and is a short walk from the town’s festival stadium. The rooms are all fully furnished and come in either two, three, four or five bed styles. Prices are relatively cheap and because of the seclusion of Guca guests are given a complimentary shuttle from airports in nearby towns. If you plan on visiting Guca for the famous Trumpet Festival there are additional discounts also offered. Because of the limited amount of hotel space in town the available rooms do fill up fast, however if you’re able to get reservations you will be able to take advantage of lowered prices, especially when booking as a group.

The Hotel Lucani is a smaller, more intimate hotel located on the western outskirts of the Guca village. The facility offers just 24 rooms as well as two full apartments. All rooms are fully furnished and come with a full range of modern amenities. The hotel also features a large array of on-site activities. An Olympic-sized pool is available to guests as is a sports and fitness center and meeting rooms for business and group activities. About 120 guests can be accommodated in the fully furnished hotel building, where all the amenities are offered including private bathrooms and fresh linens. Also featured is an on-site restaurant serving up authentic Serbian cuisine nightly. Like many establishments in the Guca area, the Hotel Zlatna Truba themes itself after the trumpets that are prevalent in the culture and festivities.
