The Three Bears Lodge of Mount Rainier, Washington is the winner of the Evening magazine's 2010 Best of Northwest Escapes. The lodge offers four rental cabins set on private wooded lots--only minutes to Mount Rainier National Park. All cabins are fully furnished with chef kitchens, luxury bedding, big screen televisions, fireplaces, hot tubs, a washer and dryer, X-Box game console and wireless internet service. Pool tables are located in the the Dancing Bear Lodge and the Lazy Bears Creekside cabin. The Three Bears lodge cabin and The Dancing Bear Lodge are dog friendly.
Free tours of the Mount Rainier National Park are available everyday, year round. In the winter months guests have the opportunity to wear authentic snow shoes while on the park tour.
Mount Rose cabin is located at Lake Cushman on the Olympic Peninsula and is available for daily or weekly rental. Lake Cushman is part of the Olympic National Forest. Mount Rose cabin is fully equipped with all the modern conveniences. The amenities are comprised of foosball table, board games, television with DVD and VHS players, barbecue grill and a fireplace. The cabin has one queen bed on the lower level, a king bed on the top level, and a roll-away bed and futon that can accommodate six to eight people.
Located in Port Ludlow just off the Puget Sound, Beavers Pond Retreat offer several rental options. The first rental is the "Morgan's House and the Master's Suite" cabin which is a large home divided into two rentals that can be opened up to become one rental. The "Master's Suite" section of the home, is a fully equipped efficiency apartment and the second section of the home, called "Morgan's House," is comprised of two bedrooms, one bath with a stone fireplace and private outdoor hot tub and deck. The final rental is "Julianna's Cottage," a private cabin sitting on Beavers pond. This cabin is fully furnished with two bedrooms, one bathroom and a private hot tub.
Olsen's Cabins are located just 12 minutes from Forks, Washington. Forks was made famous by the Hollywood movie Twilight. The Olsen's have two cabins: the first is the Mora cabin near Rialto Beach, a fully furnished one bedroom, one bath cabin with queen sleeper sofa and fenced yard. The Hoh Olympic House is a three bedroom, two bathroom cabin located five minutes from Ruby Beach. One of the last remaining rain forests in America, the Hoh Rain Forest, is 20 minutes away from the Hoh Olympic House cabin. The park is home to many hiking trails for novices to athletics.
