      The area is full of waterfalls, wooded hills and creeks for fishing. Mountain Springs offers many on-site activities, including a wooden playground, horseshoe pit, volleyball and basketball courts, soccer nets, tetherball and badminton. Tubes are also available to take to the creek and float.

      Head into town for antique shopping, take a hot air balloon ride, golf, go horseback riding or shop for crafts and sweets.

    Hawk's Nest

    • Hawk's Nest is only minutes from downtown Asheville and offers 16 acres of woods for exploring. There is a large campfire pit available.

      The wood cabin has a deck wrapping around three sides, plus a hot tub and outdoor dining table overlooking the mountains. Inside the cabin there is a fully equipped, recently remodeled kitchen with fireplace. The bathroom has an over-sized tub and shower, each large enough for two. Satellite TV is also available in the main seating room.

      The area is fully wooded and there is plenty of fishing available. This is a privately rented cabin through Asheville Connections. All recreational activities are in nearby Asheville.

    Asheville Cabins of Willow Wind

    • Relax in a one-, two- or three-bedroom rustic cabin in Willow Wind. These cabins offer large private decks, HDTV flat screen with cable, private hot tubs, full kitchens and bathrooms with large tubs. Each cabin also has a private walkway leading to its own stream, waterfall and pond. The wood cabins have wood stoves, which are used to cook and heat the cabin in the winter.

      On-site there are two playgrounds, putting green, horseshoe pits, bocce ball court, outdoor chess board, fully stocked trout pond and water balloon station. There are also self-guided hiking trail available.
