Barrhaven is a large suburb on the southwest side of Ottawa, Canada. The population of the city exploded when a railroad was built in 1911 from Ottawa to Toronto. Sitting on the east side of Barrhaven in the Rideau River and on the south by Half Moon Bay where many a water-sport is found. All types of lodging can be found on the west side of Ottawa from economical motels to luxury hotels.
The Stardust Motel sits on the edge of Barrhaven just west of Ottawa. The Nepean Sailing Club, Britannia Yacht Club, Andrew Haydon Park and Britannia Park are all located close by. Restaurants nearby serve Chinese, Indian, Lebanese and other International cuisine.
The rooms are equipped with cable television, microwaves, free local calls and some have kitchenettes. Wireless internet service is available, but not through the motel. Guests can walk down to fish, play tennis, the beach and other outdoor recreation at the public park near the motel.

The Pari's Motel is located just outside Barrhaven and close to Aviation Museum, bicycle trails leading to the Parliament Hills and Dows Lake. The motel has a variety of rooms including standard rooms plus one and two-bedroom suites all with cable television, wireless internet access, private baths and free local calls. Dining is available just down the street at one of the Chinese or Indian restaurants. Guests will also enjoy being so close to the water park and white water rafting plus many other activities.
