Newmarks' Yacht Center, located within Los Angeles Harbor, contains 250 permanent boat slips ranging from 20 to 120 feet. Established in 1961, Lighthouse Marina provides Wilmington residents with slip access to Long Beach and Los Angeles Harbor. The marina is 22 miles from Catalina Island. Private showers, restroom and laundry facilities are available for members. The marina hosts a library with books, magazines, games, DVDs and VHS tapes, and also has a patio area with a BBQ grill and tables for entertaining.
Cabrillo Marina at San Pedro, located at Berth 34, has 300 slips from 26 to 70 feet. Cabrillo Marina is home to the Boater's Lounge, which provides a haven for boaters off the water and includes television, computer and Internet access, a lending library, kitchen area with built-in BBQ, and an extended patio which overlooks West Channel. To tour the harbor, the marina provides free bikes and kayaks to boaters.
