The Best Rated California Waterfront RV Campgrounds

The 1,100 mile long California coast has year-round mild weather, making it an ideal camping destination throughout the year. However, the coastline is dramatically different in Northern and Southern California. In Southern California, beach campgrounds are smooth, sandy and perfect for swimming, beachcombing and surfing. But in Northern California you'll want to bundle up at the beach, because the rugged, dramatic coastline and cooler water makes it less accommodating to swimmers and surfers.
