The Shiloh River Resort is a small recreational vehicle campground and mobile home park in Modesto. The RV park has 13 campsites, all of which offer full electric, water and sewage hookups. Phone connections and satellite and DSL wired Internet connections are available at most of the spaces. Each space has shade trees and its own grassy lawn area. The park has free trash pickup at each campsite, and on-site drinking water is available. The park does not have restrooms or showers. The Tuolumne River is adjacent to the campgrounds for freshwater fishing. Campsites are available for both short and long-term rental.

French Camp RV Park Resort & Golf Course is in Manteca, approximately 21 miles from Modesto (approximately 26 minutes by automobile) and 10 miles from Stockton (about 14 minutes by auotomobile). The campground consists of 196 recreational vehicles, some of which have a specialized layout to accommodate pull-through parking. Each space has a patio, a picnic table and a grassy lawn area. Full electric, water and sewage hookups are offered at each site as well as telephone service. Guests can access wireless Internet throughout the campground for no additional fee. On-site amenities include restrooms, showers, a waste dump, laundry facilities, a dog park, fire rings and daily trash pickup and propane refills at each campsite. The campground operates a general store that sells basic groceries, RV supplies and firewood. A restaurant is located on the property. The resort features a nine-hole, par-32 golf course, driving range and pro shop. Other recreational facilities include an exercise room, swimming pool, hot tub, horseshoe pits and a volleyball court.
