The Smoke House Restaurant, which is an area favorite, is located on the property. On Saturday evenings, singer and songwriters from Nashville, Tennessee, provide live entertainment. Cabins are secluded but still within walking distance of the main lodge and restaurant. The cabins feature hot tubs, whirlpools and kitchens. As of 2010, prices begin at $120 per night, depending on the season.

    State Cabins at Cloudland Canyon

    • This secluded setting is in one of Georgia's state parks on the western edge of Lookout Mountain. The park straddles a deep gorge with elevations from 800 to 1,980 feet. There are 16 two- and three-bedroom cabins near the canyon's edge. Hiking trails are throughout the park, including one that goes around the rim of the canyon. There is a shop on the property for supplies. Cabins can accommodate up to 10 people and are fully equipped with kitchens, fireplaces, grills and screened porches. As of 2010, prices range from $125 to $145 per night.

This is a quiet cabin retreat with little activities on the premises. Downtown Chattanooga is less than 20 minutes away. No two cabins are the same, but all feature fully equipped kitchens and bed linens. The larger cabins have fireplaces, whirlpools and grills. Up to six bedrooms are in the deluxe cabins. Prices range from $75 to $200 per night, with discounts for multiple nights.

    • Located north of Chattanooga in Spring City, Tennessee, and on the 72.4 mile Watts Bar Lake is the Arrowhead Resort. Boating and fishing enthusiasts can bring their own boat or rent a bass boat or pontoon boat for fishing or swimming in the lake. Arrowhead also has a restaurant on the premises named Front Porch. One-, two- and three-bedroom cabins are available. Cabins come fully equipped and the property is family-friendly. As of 2010, prices range from $105 to $160 per night.
