The Wilderness is the family campground at Branson attraction Silver Dollar City. Besides facilities for RVs and tent camping, The Wilderness has three different types of log cabins. Pioneer Cabins, the most basic, give adventurous families a taste of what life was like for the early settlers of the region. Equipped with a fire ring and an outside spigot, Pioneer Cabins have no bathrooms. At the high end, Rustic Cabins with lofts, kitchens and fireplaces have a bathroom with shower, a microwave, cable TV and a gas grill on the deck. The hand-hewn, rustic cabins are made by craftsmen from Silver Dollar City. Family-friendly amenities at The Wilderness include a swimming pool, three playgrounds and a game room with pool tables and video games.

Westgate Branson Woods bills itself as a family vacation resort. It has a variety of accommodation types, including hotels and condos as well as family-friendly log cabins. For active families, the resort has indoor and outdoor pools, hiking trails, bicycle rentals, basketball and sand volleyball courts, a lighted playground, and a daily schedule of seasonal activities. Log cabins with one to four bedrooms are available, featuring fully equipped kitchens, whirlpool baths, wood burning fireplaces and televisions. Blue Haven is a family-friendly fishing resort with 31 cabins near Lake Taneycomo, 20 of them on the lake shore itself. All the cabins have fully equipped kitchens, cable TVs and recliners. Guests can fish for Lake Taneycomo trout from the resort's lakeside docks or from its 16-foot aluminum v-bottomed fishing boat. The boat is available free for guests who bring their own motors. There is also a boat ramp available for guests who bring their own bass boats. Family-friendly features of this resort include two swimming pools, one of which is graduated from two to five feet deep, the other from three to eight feet. Two playgrounds are equipped with volleyball/badminton nets and a basketball court.
