• Situated on a private resort overlooking Loch Ness, The Lodges on Loch Ness is a self-catering vacation retreat featuring fully-furnished luxury log cabins with a choice of floor plans. All cabins have three bedrooms and a double sofa bed, which can comfortably sleep eight. Private en-suite bathrooms are featured in each bedroom and include modern plumbing and fixtures. Common areas and bedrooms are equipped with a television, DVD player, sound system and a direct-dial telephone. Kitchens have all conveniences, including microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher and refrigerator, as well as laundry facilities. A welcome package of coffee, tea and cleaning supplies is provided. Pets are welcome in some of the cabins.

Wildside Lodges

• Awarded a four-star rating from the Scottish Tourist Board, Wildside Lodges is a private holiday park on the southern shore of Loch Ness near the River Fechlin. Imported from Finland, the park's four luxury log cabins feature traditional Finnish chalet-style architecture. Each cabin includes three bedrooms that can comfortably sleep six people, each with private bathrooms that include jacuzzi bathtubs and showers. Fully furnished with leather-upholstered sofas, all cabins include a well-equipped kitchen with all modern amenities, including laundry facilities. A wide veranda surrounds the exterior, providing views of the loch. Linens, pillows and towels are provided.

Wildwood Cabin

• Located in a forest between Fort Augustus and Loch Ness, Wildwood Cabin is a luxury Finnish-style log cabin on private acreage. Furnished to comfortably sleep eight, the cabin is a four-bedroom lodge spread over two levels. Fully furnished, it has a well-equipped sitting area with a television, DVD player, sound system and a library of movies, books and games. The kitchen includes all amenities, such as an oven, stove, microwave, refrigerator, laundry facilities and pots, pans and dishes. Fuel for the wood-burning stove is included, as are linens and towels. Guests may bring one dog although the yard is not enclosed. A small deposit is required for housekeeping.
