Nicaragua Surf Resorts

Nicaragua is a slow-paced country steeped in history and rich with natural wonders such as volcanoes, tropical forests and the beautiful Pacific coast. Though the second-poorest country in Latin America, Nicaragua is also the second-safest, according to the United Nations, making it a great place to visit to relax and learn to surf.

    Popoyo Surf Lodge

    • The Popoyo Surf Lodge in Las Salinas is run by an expatriate Floridian surfer and his staff, including experienced area natives. Guests are met at the international airport in Managua and transferred directly to Popoyo Surf Resort. Packages include six nights accommodation, with three meals daily, all nonalcoholic beverages and daily surf tours. The lodge owns two boats that are fully outfitted for surfing and near-shore fishing. • Los Cardones Surf Lodge offers guests private terraces with lounge chairs and hammocks under a thatched palm roof and private bathrooms.
