Arizona features 200 RV campgrounds and resorts scattered throughout the state, particularly in the southwest region. Even though it snows in some parts of Arizona, most RV resorts remain open year round due to typically warm weather conditions.     • Located in Mesa, Arizona, the adults-only Desert Vista RV Resort sits just 20 minutes from downtown Phoenix. The surrounding region features five lakes, as well as rivers ideal for tubing and white water rafting. The resort offers such amenities as a swimming pool, a whirlpool, and a social hall outfitted with cable television. The RV campground includes 62 sites, each of which comes equipped with electricity, sewer and water hook-ups. Guests also have access to coin-operated laundry facilities.

    Campbell Cove RV Resort

    • The Campbell Cove RV Resort resides in Lake Havasu City, just minutes from the California border. Perched along the shores of the lake, with 128 sites, the RV campground is less than two miles from the city's famed London Bridge. Campers can try their hand at boating or fishing during their stay, and the resort is next to a storage facility that can hold approximately 300 boats. Practical on-site amenities include a gas station, restrooms, hot showers, a laundromat and a convenience store. The resort also features a swimming pool and hot tub.
