Whispering Palms RV Park is in northwestern Tucson. The park is on the small side, but has a recreation hall that offers game nights, bingo games, potluck dinners, pancake breakfasts and a place for people to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee and doughnuts. Visitors will also find a laundry room, swimming pool, free wireless Internet, clothes lines, bathrooms and showers. The roads are gravel and all sites are level with full hookups, including electricity. The park is near golf courses, dining, shopping and major attractions in Tucson, including the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum.
Voyager RV Resort is for active adults and has 1,576 camping spaces, including 600 spaces for RVs, 100 of which are pull-through sites. The sites have DSL Internet, telephone hookups and 50-amp services. WiFi hotspots exist throughout the resort, which offers a golf course, exercise classes, biking and hiking trails and activities such as music and crafts. The Voyager also has a grocery store, bar, grill, laundry facility, tennis court, heated pools and a library.
Beaudry RV Resort is located in Pima County, where you can see both the Catalina and Rincon mountains. The park is near golf courses, casinos and shopping. The grounds have 346 pads with full hookups and 256 pull-though sites. The sites have 30- and 50-amp service hookups. Amenities include a shaded picnic area, fishing, putting green, horseshoe pits, laundry rooms, swimming pools, fitness center and clubhouse with cable TV, wireless Internet and dog walks. The resort is gated; it closes its doors at 7 p.m. and does not open until 7 a.m. the next day. The Del Monaco Restaurant is located in the center of the resort and serves daily specials.
