Good Value Restaurants in the Chicago Loop

Chicago is a great place to visit, even during the dead of winter because there is so much to do there. Take a walk up the Magnificent Mile, see the exotic sea life at the Shedd Aquarium or take in one of several plays in The Loop, the area downtown that's bounded by the overhead rail. While there are many restaurants in Chicago's Loop that charge top dollar, there are also a plethora of restaurants that offer great value.
  1. I Dream of Falafel

    • If you're into vegan-style cooking, drop into this Mediterranean restaurant that is a favorite for locals at lunch. Start your meal with a Lebanese roll with rice and a salad. You can add chicken or beef, grilled lamb or falafels with a side order of fattoush, dolmas or lentil soup. A great way to start the day is with the restaurant's Mediterranean-inspired breakfast. There are few restaurants that charge less for either lunch or breakfast.
