RV Parks in Sevierville, TN

Located near the Great Smoky Mountains of east-central Tennessee, Sevierville is a small town with a lot to offer campers looking for recreation. The Little Pigeon River flows through the city and visitors arrive every year to tube, fish, bike, horseback-ride, and nature-watch in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The park is also home to a 70-mile stretch of the celebrated Appalachian Trail. Recreational vehicle campers have their choice of several parks in Sevierville and the surrounding area.
  1. River Plantation RV Park

    • River Plantation RV Park is near the Smoky Mountains and other local attractions, such as Dollywood and Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies. The riverfront resort has something for every member of the family: free wireless Internet access, an arcade, a new playground, fishing, a hot tub, two pools and a basketball court. Riverfront RV sites are available, as well as pull-throughs, and big rigs are welcome. Sites are equipped with 30/50-amp electrical service, concrete patios and cable TV. The park also has bathroom facilities, laundry rooms, an outdoor pavilion and golf cart rentals. In 2010, River Plantation's RV sites started at $30.50 ($22.50 from Dec. 1 to March 31). Rates are based on two people; children under 6 stay free. For those without an RV, rental cabins are available; tents aren't allowed. River Plantation is a Good Sam park.

    Riverside Campground And RV Resort

    • Riverside Campground and RV Resort offers campers lots of amenities in a Christian atmosphere. Riverside has a swimming pool, bath house, game room, laundry facilities, camp store and LP gas. RVers can choose from 316 campsites, all with concrete patios, free cable TV, free wireless Internet access, and full water, sewer and 30- or 50-amp hookups. Some sites don't have sewer connections, but an on-site dump station is available. Sunday church services are held on site. As of 2010, rates start at $28, based on two people; children under 6 stay free. RV campers who stay six nights get the seventh night free. For those without RVs, rental cabins and mobile homes are available; no tents are allowed. Pets are welcome for RV campers only.

    Ripplin' Waters Campground

    • Located on the Little Pigeon River, Ripplin' Waters Campground has 156 campsites, with 50 along the riverfront. All the sites are shaded and equipped with full hook-ups and satellite TV. Ripplin' Waters Campground has a playground, a swimming pool, public phones, shower and laundry facilities, and regular church services. Ice, RV supplies, food and LP gas can all be found at the on-site camp store. Auto rentals are also available at the park. Campers can golf at two 18-hole courses nearby or shop at the 44,000-square-foot flea market across the street or browse the 20,000-square-foot Christian book store next door. As of 2010, RV sites started $28 for two people; children under 6 stay free. Pets are allowed at RV sites but not in the park's rental cabins. Ripplin' Waters is a Good Sam park.
