The Park Sands Beach Resort, located in Parksville on the central and east coast of Vancouver Island, is in a popular area for camping, with a mild climate and sandy beaches. Located next door to a community park with a playground and water spray park, Park Sands has 89 RV sites, including 40 with concrete pads. The sites have both full and partial hookups with either 15-, 30- or 50-amp electrical connections. Cable TV is also available at the sites, some of which are located along the beach and offer great views of Georgia Strait. Other sites are located in a shaded and forested inland area. The resort has bathrooms with flush toilets, showers and laundry facilities.

The Hiawatha RV Park is in the heart of the Okanagan Valley, a popular place with campers because of its temperate climate. The park's RV sites come with water, sewer and electrical hookups of either 15 or 30 amps. Campers can also opt to stay in separate tent areas. A heated pool and spa are located on the grounds along with restrooms, showers, a playground and an arcade room with a pool table. A store on the property sells limited groceries. Picnic tables are situated at each site, most of which are in shaded areas. The Hiawatha RV Park has a paved road, level gravel pads and a security gate. The RV sites, which are available on a daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal basis, also come with cable TV.
