The Evergreen Air & Space Museum, Spirit Mountain Casino and the major cities of Portland and Salem are easily accessed from the park.     Champoeg State Heritage Area

    • Try the Champoeg State Heritage Area for RV accommodations on the site where Oregon's first provisional government was formed in 1843. The park is set on the banks of the Willamette River and is home to the historic Butteville Store, a range of hiking and biking trails, the Donald Manson Barn and the Pioneer Mothers Log Cabin museum. The RV sites offered are big-rig friendly and although 12 of the sites are full-hookup, most feature only electric hookups.
