RV Parks in Nisku Alberta, Canada

Nisku is and unincorporated town on the edge of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. According to the Nisku website, the population of the little hamlet is 952 residents, but there are plenty of outdoor activities like hiking, biking, golf and many more. Nisku is so small it does not have any RV Parks in the town itself, but is surrounded by parks in Edmonton and the countryside.

    • Lindbrook Star Gazer Campground and RV Park sits just 30 minutes from Nisku and Edmonton. The park has electric, water and trash bins for each of the RV sites. The grounds provide the campers with a swimming pool, playground, showers and toilets. Campers will have to go into nearby Tofield for dining or eat at one of the restaurants close to Nisku. The Edmonton Queen Riverboat is a relaxing journey through Edmonton while dining at the cafe located on the riverboat or campers can visit the TELUS World of Science .

    • Shakers Acres Banquet Hall and RV Park sits on the west side of Edmonton just a few minutes from Nisku. The 163 sites located on the grounds has space even for the biggest RV and provides power, sewer and water hook-ups. The campgrounds have amenities such as wireless Internet, showers, toilets, playground, indoor recreation room with arcade and a convenience store. Campers will be close to the Devonian Botanic Garden, Castrol Raceway and the Valley Zoo. The park does have picnic tables and a limited number of fire-pits for cooking out, but does not have a restaurant or cafe on the grounds.

    Whitemud Creek Golf and RV Resort

    • Whitemud Creek Golf and RV Resort is a great camping and golfing resort plus is sitting on the edge of Nisku. The nine-hole golf course is part of the 240 acres that also hosts 125 full-service RV park. Each of the sites can accommodate RV's up to 60 feet long and provides sewer, water and electrical hook-ups. The campgrounds has clean restrooms, phone, snack bar, playground, fishing and a Pro Shop at the clubhouse. Campers can explore the countryside by bike or walking the trails, but may decide to visit the Alberta Aviation Museum which is located nearby.
