Texas RV Parks Near I-40

Interstate 40 spans 177 miles across the Texas Panhandle. Along the way, drivers will find tourist attractions ranging from the Cadillac Ranch, an art attraction west of Amarillo that features half-buried Cadillac cars standing upright, to the Leaning Tower of Texas, a water tank that leans precariously to one side, located near the Oklahoma border. Most of the RV parks on Interstate 40 are located in Amarillo, the biggest city served along this route.

Other guest facilities include coin-operated laundry facilities, restrooms with showers, a convenience store and an outdoor pavilion with barbecue grills. Management also provides complimentary coffee and donuts each morning.

    • Overnight RV Park is located off Interstate 40 at Exit 75 and features all pull-through sites up to 90 feet long. Each site has full hookups, cable television and free wireless Internet access. The park is pet-friendly, and some RV sites have their own private, fenced dog runs.     • West Forty RV Park is one of the last campgrounds going east on Interstate 40 near the Texas and Oklahoma border.
