    • Frontier Town Campground, a Western-themed park on Sinepuxent Bay in Berlin, Maryland, offers 542 campsites for RV and tent camping, with full hookups, cable TV and wireless Internet access. The campground also offers log cabin rentals. Frontier Town is close to Assateague Island National Seashore, the Ocean City Maryland Boardwalk, Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum, and the Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra. Park facilities include a marina; a dock; a boat-launch area; access to a water park with a lazing river, and a pool with slides and fountains. Activities include fishing, boating, kayaking and canoeing. Other features include basketball, shuffleboard and volleyball courts; horseshoe pits; a golf-cart rental service; a dog-walking area; a children’s playground and a gift shop. The campground also offers a wide variety of organized activities.

    Ramblin’ Pines Campground

    • The Ramblin’ Pines Campground in Woodbine, Maryland, is near the Baltimore Zoo, the American Visionary Art Museum, the Babe Ruth Birthplace Museum and the Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine. The campground offers 200 RV and tent camping sites, most with full hookups. RVs up to 60 feet can be accommodated, with 12 pull-through and 75 slide-out sites. Cabin rentals are available. Features for children include a fishing pond; a swimming pool; shuffleboard, miniature golf, volleyball, basketball, playground and a jumping pillow. Campground amenities include an RV storage facility, a store with supplies and groceries, a snack bar, a dog-walking park, a recreation room and a pavilion area. Planned activities include craft-making, pool parties, Bingo nights, hayrides and karaoke nights.
