• The Wild Cherry Resort in the northwestern corner of the state has 65 RV sites that come with a cement patio, a picnic table, WiFi service and water, sewer and electric connections. The resort has 20-, 30- and 50-amp electric available. Lots are also available for purchase. The park, which surrounds a 4-acre lake and is a 10-minute drive away from Lake Michigan, offers rates on a daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal basis. The resort has two golf holes and a driving range as well as trails for hiking, biking and bird watching, Picnicking and wine tasting contests in the resort's lodge are popular activities on a property that was originally a vineyard and orchard farm. Bathrooms, showers and a laundry facility are next to the sites.

Driftwood Resort and Marina

• The Driftwood Resort and Marina is an RV park situated on Sage Lake in the northeastern section of the state and in the Huron National Forest area. The resort encompasses 13 landscaped acres and has 25 RV sites that are open from the beginning of May until the end of October. Located along the banks on the northern end of 784-acre Sage Lake, the RV sites have water, sewer and electric connections. A sandy beach is next to the resort's marina. Organized events such as potluck dinners, cookouts and picnics are organized and held by the resort's tenants. Several golf courses are in the area. Sage Lake itself is known for its excellent fishing as well as its many boating, swimming and water skiing opportunities. The resort also has a winter boat storage area, bathrooms and showers.

Insta Launch Campground and Marina

• Open from May 1 until mid-November, the Insta Launch Campground and Marina sits along the banks of the Big Manistee River in the northwestern part of the state. The campground has sites that range from primitive to sites with water, sewer and electric hook-ups. Trailers, cabins and boats can all be rented at campground. Boat slips are available for boats up to 24 feet. A camp store with fishing tackle, bait, groceries, camping supplies, fishing licenses and ice cream is located on the property. The campground has a sandy beach for swimming, a playground, volleyball courts and horseshoe pits. Additional amenities include restrooms, showers, a dump station and a fish cleaning station.
