A new meeting house for 60 people is offered with a flat-screen TV, and an open, covered, concrete pavilion with picnic tables. A fine gazebo is available as well. Ice and propane are on-site, and a crisp, clean laundry with coin and detergent dispensers. The bath house is immaculate, and the sites are cement slabs with grass all around. Each site includes full hookups and a picnic table, WiFi and cable TV. Extra parking is available. The sites are mostly waterfront, and the pond is stocked with bream, bass, catfish and perch. Security cameras are posted throughout the property.

Tides Inn RV Park

• The Tides Inn RV Park is located in Holly Beach. Their directions read "From I-10 exit 20/21 take LA27 south to Holly Beach, then west on LA82 approx 1/4 mile. Park is on left." When getting directions, be certain you are on the correct LA27 south. There is second LA27 south further east. The camp has 20 sites, with the maximum length of vehicle being 45 feet. Sites are full hookup, with 30/50-amp electrical, and Internet access and WiFi. Restrooms with showers and a laundry are available, as well as a waste dump. Pets must be on leash, but they are welcome, and the sites have picnic tables. Tenting is also a possibility if you like to spread out. Be certain to call in advance for very specific directions.

Sweet Gum Community

• The Sweet Gum Community is in the south part of Sulphur, 23 miles north of Holly Beach, on Highway 27, but south of I-10. This community offers lighted, paved streets, and paved parking at each site. 30/50-amp electrical, cable TV and telephone hookups are available, and there are privacy fences. The community clubhouse is fully equipped with a kitchen and a pool table and management is on-site. Access to I-10 is easy, and Lake Charles is just 10 minutes away. The Frasch Park and Golf Course are within five minutes, as well as SPAR Water Park with its gym and indoor pool. Also within a 10-minute drive is the Prien Lake Mall, local refineries and the McNeese State University.
