"Green Mile Prison" in Nashville? It's Fiction

There is no "Green Mile Prison" in Nashville, Tennessee. The Green Mile is a 1996 novel by Stephen King (and 1999 film) set in a fictional Louisiana penitentiary (Cold Mountain). The story is entirely fictional.

Nashville's real historic prison was the Tennessee State Penitentiary (1831–1992), near downtown, now redeveloped. No "Green Mile" facility exists.
