Florida's Free-College Programs for Residents

Florida offers two tuition-free pathways:

1. Bright Futures Scholarship

Covers 100% tuition/fees at FL public colleges/universities + book stipend for high-achieving, financially needy FL high-school grads (GPA/test minimums, 12-month residency, US citizenship/eligible status).

2. Florida College Tuition Waiver

Free tuition for students in critical-shortage fields (teaching, nursing, law enforcement) who commit to work in Florida post-graduation (GPA minimum, FL residency).

Additional grants, scholarships, and loans are available via the FL Department of Education.
