Where is Arlington Virginia?

Arlington County is located in the Commonwealth of Virginia, in the United States. It is situated across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C., and is considered a part of the Washington metropolitan area. It borders the city of Alexandria to the south and Fairfax County to the west and north. Arlington County is known for its role as the home of the Pentagon, the headquarters of the United States Department of Defense.
