What are the wards in Washington DC?

The District of Columbia is divided into eight wards, each represented by an elected member of the Council of the District of Columbia. The wards are:

* Ward 1: Includes the neighborhoods of Adams Morgan, Dupont Circle, Foggy Bottom, Georgetown, and West End.

* Ward 2: Includes the neighborhoods of Anacostia, Barry Farm, Brookland, Capitol Hill, and Ivy City.

* Ward 3: Includes the neighborhoods of American University Park, Cathedral Heights, Cleveland Park, Forest Hills, Glover Park, Kent, Massachusetts Heights, Palisades, Spring Valley, and Tenleytown.

* Ward 4: Includes the neighborhoods of Chevy Chase, Friendship Heights, Forest Glen, Glen Echo, Martin's Additions, Palisades, and Wesley Heights.

* Ward 5: Includes the neighborhoods of Congress Heights, Deanwood, Garfield Heights, Hillcrest, Kingman Park, Minnesota Avenue, Naylor Gardens, and Woodland Heights.

* Ward 6: Includes the neighborhoods of Barry Farms, Capitol Hill, Capitol Hill North, Capitol Hill South, H Street Northeast, Kingman Park, North Michigan Park, and Trinidad.

* Ward 7: Includes the neighborhoods of Benning, Brookland, Deanwood, Hill East, Hill West, Kenilworth, Marshall Heights, Mayfair, Minnesota Avenue, Near Northeast, and Stanton Park.

* Ward 8: Includes the neighborhoods of Anacostia, Bellevue, Congress Heights, Fort Dupont, Hillcrest, Ivy City, Kenilworth, Minnesota Avenue, Naylor Gardens, Near Southeast, Penn Branch, Skyland, and Woodland.
