Can you drive to school with a permit in Utah?

In Utah, a learner's permit allows someone to drive with a licensed driver who is at least 21 years old. The learner or their guardian must request the permit from the Division of Motor Vehicles.

The learner must also submit to a vision and written test. There are also other restrictions placed on the learner such as; must wear corrective lenses if necessary, must not use a cellphone for any use besides navigation, must not drive over 50 miles per hour, must not drive between the hours of 11 pm and 5 am, and must have the permit visibly displayed on their vehicle's dashboard.

Additionally, the licensed driver overseeing the learner must have at least two years of driving experience.
