How long is basic training for Illinois National Guard?

The basic training for the Illinois National Guard is 10 weeks long. It is conducted at Fort Benning, Georgia, and covers a variety of topics, including:

- Basic soldiering skills, such as marksmanship, land navigation, and first aid

- Physical training

- Drill and ceremony

- Military law and customs

- Values and ethics

- Leadership skills

Upon completion of basic training, soldiers will be assigned to a unit in the Illinois National Guard.
