- 70 years of age or older
- Have a physical or mental disability that prevents you from serving as a juror
- Are the primary caretaker of a young child or incapacitated adult
- Have served on a jury in the last two years
- Are a non-resident of the county in which you are summoned for jury service
- Have been convicted of a felony or certain other serious crimes
- Are employed as specified law enforcement of other government jobs which would result in a hardship if the employee served as a juror
