Another option for getting to Glacier Bay by boat is to take a day trip from Juneau. These trips typically last about 12 hours and include a narrated tour of the park.
By Plane
There are two small airports located within Glacier Bay National Park: Gustavus Airport and Bartlett Cove Airport. These airports are served by a number of regional airlines, and flights are available from Juneau, Seattle, and Anchorage.
From the airport, you can take a taxi or shuttle to your hotel or campground in the park.
By Car
It is not possible to drive to Glacier Bay National Park. The park is only accessible by boat or plane.
Once You're There
Once you're in Glacier Bay National Park, there are a number of different ways to explore. You can hike, camp, kayak, or take a boat tour. There are also a number of ranger-led programs available.
