Where is Bwindi National Park?

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located in the southwestern region of Uganda, on the edge of the Albertine Rift Valley, Africa's deepest rift valley.

The park is situated roughly 560 kilometers (350 miles) southwest of Kampala, Uganda's capital city.

It encompasses a total area of approximately 331 square kilometers (128 sq. mi) and lies at an elevation ranging from 1,160 meters (3,800 ft) to 2,607 meters (8,553 ft).
