Blundale, Georgia, is a crossroads in Emanuel County in east central Georgia, 63 miles south of Augusta and 143 miles southeast of Atlanta. The Blundale crossroads is at the junction of Old Blundale Rd. and Highway 1 near the small town of Swainsboro. Although Blundale has is its own cemetery, it is not its own independent town, and in fact shares a ZIP code with Swainsboro. The 7000 or so residents of Swainsboro can enjoy the Altama Museum of Art and History, Vines Botanical Gardens and other area attractions.
