In Millen proper is the Regency Inn and Suites, which offers 32 rooms. Free cable and high-speed wireless Internet are available for all guests, and there is an outdoor pool available seasonally. Although it generally does not allow pets, it does make exceptions based on the size and type of animal. The Regency Inn and Suites is very close to Magnolia Springs Park, and its rates range from $45 per night for a single bed to $55 per night for a double as of February 2011.
The second hotel in Millen is the Sunset Inn. It has more-basic accomodations than the Regency Inn and Suites, but does have the advantage of lower rates, $30 per night for a single and $36 per night for a double. It is only a 10-minute drive to Magnolia Springs Park from the Sunset Inn, and it is convenient to a number of restaurants, including Huddle House, Judy's Restaurant and Cindy's Cafe on Cotton.
Sylvania is approximately a half an hour away from Millen to the east. It offers several places to stay, including the Days Inn, the Holiday Motel, and the Dreamland Motel. Of the three, only the Days Inn has any information available online. Sylvania boasts a tourist attraction in the Brier Creek Battle Site, an important battle in the Revolutionary War. Sylvania is approximately a half an hour from Magnolia Springs State Park.
Half an hour north of Millen is Waynesboro, which also provides a number of accommodations. Like Sylvania, it offers a Days Inn as well as the Jameson Inn, which promises "the conveniences of a contemporary hotel with the charm of a country inn" and a Best Western Executive Inn that provides a complimentary breakfast as well as a hot tub, Jacuzzi and outdoor pool. Waynesboro is home to the Burke County Museum and is about 20 minutes away from Magnolia Springs State Park.
