Guyton, a town of approximately 2,000, is less than three miles north of Pineora. It contains one bed and breakfast, Claudette's Country Kitchen and Inn. Claudette's, which is a seven-minute drive from the center of Pineora, provides food as well as accommodations, and is situated down the street from Guyton's Smoke House BBQ restaurant. Rincon is about 15 miles east of Pineora, and contains two hotels. Microtel Inn & Suites, a two-star hotel, features complimentary breakfast and wireless Internet as well as in-room refrigerators and microwaves. Rates begin at $59 per night. The Days Inn in Rincon is a two-star motel with an outdoor swimming pool, high-speed Internet access, and in-room microwaves and refrigerators. Prices start at $44 per night as of January 2011.
Pooler, which is 17 miles southeast of Pineora, just outside Savannah, features a variety of accommodations. According to Trip Advisor, some of the top-rated hotels in Pooler are the Magnolia Inn, Sleep Inn and La Quinta Inn, all of which feature complimentary breakfast and run about $75 per night, as of January 2011.
There are more than 100 hotels in Savannah, which is about a 40-minute drive from Pineora. Cambria Suites and Hilton Garden Inn, near the Savannah airport, provide convenient access to I-95, from which you can take GA-17 straight to Pineora. Cambria Suites runs about $117 per night, while the Hilton starts at $91 per night, as of January 2011.
