Hotels in Wildwood, New Jersey on 16th Street & 15th Street

In New Jersey, where hopping on the Garden State Parkway and heading down to the shore is a summer past time, The Wildwoods---Wildwood Crest, Wildwood and North Wildwood---are the premier destination. With a world famous boardwalk packed with thrill rides and carnival food directly next to an enormous free beach, the seaside community swells greatly during the summer months. Travel and Leisure magazine calls The Wildwoods a place where visitors don't come for the beach or the thrill of the boardwalk, but rather the "doo wop."

The Wildwoods contain a large concentration of 1950s concrete architecture complete with loud neon, colorful pastels and just plain summer fun. Check out the piers on the boardwalk for some great rollercoasters and waterparks. All motels are within a short walk of the Hereford Lighthouse, a Victorian lighthouse dating back to the 1800s.
