Gir National Park is located in the Gujarat state of India. It is one of the most important protected areas in Asia and is home to the last surviving population of Asiatic lions. The park is spread over an area of 1,412 square kilometers and includes a variety of habitats, including dry deciduous forest, grasslands, and wetlands.
