How many dogs are legally allowed at a residential home in North Las Vegas?

The City of North Las Vegas Municipal Code Section 7.04.100 regulates the number of dogs allowed at a residential home.

For homes with a front footage of 50 feet or less:

- A maximum of 3 dogs are permitted.

For homes with a front footage greater than 50 feet:

- A maximum of 4 dogs are permitted.

In addition, the following regulations apply:

- No person shall keep more than one female dog in heat at any one time.

- All dogs must be licensed with the City of North Las Vegas.

- All dogs must be vaccinated against rabies and other diseases as required by law.

- All dogs must be kept in a secure enclosure when outdoors.

- All dogs must be socialized and kept in a humane manner.

- No dogs shall be allowed to bark or howl continuously for a period of time exceeding 15 minutes.

- Dogs shall not be allowed to attack or injure any person or animal.
