Ensure that those visiting the United States for training are not from countries that participate in the Visa Waiver Program. Nationals from participants in this program need not apply for a visa prior to entering the country. Instead, they need only enroll in the Electronic System for Travel Authorization program prior to coming to the United States.
Complete the DS-160 online visa application available on the State Department website.
Schedule an interview with the local U.S. embassy. A listing of embassy locations and contact details is available in the resources section.
Submit the required photograph and fees to complete the visa application process. Ensure that the visa is received before departing for the United States. Furthermore, ensure that all passports are valid for six months past the last day of stay in the United States.
