How to Get Upgraded on Air Canada

      Purchase and use an upgrade certificate to upgrade from economy to executive class. These certificates are valid for one year after the date of issue and can only be used for a one-way upgrade to the Executive cabin.

      Call Air Canada Reservations at 888-247-2262 at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure of your flight to request and confirm your upgrade.

      Show your boarding pass and your upgrade certificate at the boarding gate or to the check-in agent before boarding the flight.

      Use your eUpgrade credits if you are an Air Canada Top Tier member to upgrade to Executive class. Your upgrade credits can be used on the Air Canada website and applied to your ticket when you check in online or at a self-service check-in kiosk at the airport.
