Bern's Steak House, established in 1956, is a prime location for fine dining in Tampa Bay. The current chef is a graduate of the Swedish Culinary Institute, and Bern's is truly an upscale restaurant, with a wide array of caviar, wines, fresh seafood, and fine liquor. Although dressy clothing is not required, it is certainly recommended, and those wearing jeans, t-shirts or flip flops will be seated in the lounge rather than the dining room areas.
