Crescent Beach is in the Lunenberg area of Nova Scotia. This beach is particularly popular with tourists during the May through October high season for tourism in the province. The LaHave Maritime Museum, with local history exhibits organized around nautical themes, and the Petite River Vineyard are attractions within the beach area. According to the Nova Scotia Department of Tourism, "At low tide there are wide sand flats which warm the water when the tide comes back in. Spectacular sand dune system backs the beach area.
