The Jungle Tours in Thailand

The Kingdom of Thailand, formerly known as Siam, is situated in Southeast Asia and is known for its cultural diversity and pristine beaches. Due to its tropical climate, rainforests cover a large area of the country, of which the largest two are the Khao Sok National Park in Surat Thani and the Khao Yai National Park in the northeast region of the country. Thailand is a tourist-friendly country, and numerous tours are available to give foreigners the true jungle experience.
  1. Khao Yai National Park

    • Wild Watch Thailand arranges three-day tours through the Khao Yai National Park. The park consists of moist, evergreen forests, hosts more than 2,400 different plant species, more than 350 bird species and numerous mammals. Although the park is situated three hours Northeast from Bangkok, Wild Watch Thailand personnel will transfer you from your hotel in Bangkok to the park and back. An English-speaking naturalist guide leads the group on a three-day hike through the jungle. Porters go along with your private group to carry all of the gear. You will spend two nights in a deluxe tented camp consisting of a large dining tent and two comfortable sleeping tents---all fitted with mosquito nets. Hot showers, freshly prepared Thai dishes and cold drinks are all included in the package. The tour is only recommended for fit, serious hikers and children younger than 15 years old are not allowed. Tours are arranged on a private basis, so no other tourists will join your group.
