One of the best reasons to visit Seven Springs is to see the Cliffs of the Neuse State Park. It was once thought that the mineral waters that run through the park worked as a cure-all, and visitors traveled from all over the world to drink from them. The highlight of the park is the stunning set of cliffs that line the river running through the park. Starting from Memorial Day and throughout the summer months, swimming and boat rentals are available.

Held every May on the town's main street, the Ole Timey Days Festival celebrates the town's history, and lets visitors experience Seven Springs as it was more than a century ago. Tractors and horse-drawn carts parade down the street and local vendors sell arts and crafts from street-side tents. Musical performances occur throughout the day, and a petting zoo and pony rides are available for children. The 2011 festival will be held May 14.
