• Founded in 1983, Historic Tours travels throughout Europe to both World War II and Cold War sites. Historic Tours offers a WWII and Scenic European Towns Tour. This tour visits Austria, Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg. During the tour, you will attend a wreath ceremony at the American Cemetery in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, visit the site of the Battle of the Bulge in Belgium and explore sites in Germany where members of the Nazi Party once lived. Accommodations during the tour consist of hotels. The World War II and Scenic European Towns Tour is open to all ages and are led by the owners of Historic Tours, Ray and Cristy Pfeiffer.

Stephen Ambrose Historical Tours

• Founded in 1970, Stephen Ambrose Historical Tours were started by historian Stephen Ambrose and Peter McLean. The Historical Tours offer a variety of World War II tours. The Band of Brothers Tour follows the footsteps of the paratroopers of Easy Company, 101st Airborne division from the beginning of D-Day to V-E Day. During this tour, you'll travel to the beaches of Normandy and the mountain aerie of Berchtesgaden, where Adolf Hitler once lived. The D-Day to Rhine Tour visits the Churchill War Room in London, aircraft carriers used during World War II at the Battle of Britain Museum and the beaches of Normandy. Accommodations are in hotels. Itineraries on the World War II tours were created by Stephen Ambrose and are led by historians. Tours are open to all ages.
