Family Bike Tours in Europe

Traveling through Europe on bike can be a unique and fun way to interact with locals, see villages and the countryside, and slow down the usual fast-paced lifestyle. A number of family bike tours all throughout Europe provide a variety of things to see and do. Many of the tours give you plenty of time to shop in the villages, try new foods and meet new people. Most bike tours provide bicycles and accommodations during the tour.

      Hours of bike riding can range from 2 to 11 miles per day, depending on the level of activity during the tour. Accommodations with Backroads range from hotels to camping. Backroads provides two styles of bicycles, road bikes and mountain bikes, at no extra cost. Children under 7 years old are not allowed to ride their own bikes but an adult can bring them along in a trailer or piccolo. Professional guides lead all tours.
