Yes, Carowinds is getting a new coaster in 2023. The new coaster will be called Copperhead Strike and will be located in the Blue Ridge Junction area of the park. The coaster will feature a 2,425-foot track, three inversions, and a 145-foot-tall lift hill. Copperhead Strike will be the park's first Mack Rides launched coaster.
